Position Summary: |
Provides overall assistance to managers of Polo Custom Products and handles customer accounts. |

Essential Functions: |
Responsible for customer order verification, entry, confirmation, tracking, and changes.
Provide reliable backup for Polo managers and other department associates as needed.
Produce and maintain electronic/paper company and customer documents and files.
Process special customer requests, such as complaints, returns, quotations, and samples.
Internal/external liaison for communication between customers, sales, purchasing, manufacturing plants, and management.
Answer incoming calls and direct to appropriate person, including inquiry calls from prospective customers.
Manage and assist with special projects as needed. |

Additional
Responsibilities: |
Assist with market research and analysis.
Travel overnight to manufacturing facilities, trade shows and customer sites on a limited basis.
Potentially manage all aspects of routine and new accounts as assigned.
Internet research.
Travel planning.
Other duties as assigned. |

Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills: |
High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
At least one year of experience in sales environment (business-to-business preferred).
Able to use Microsoft Word, Windows/Excel/Outlook and Internet navigation, able to use general office machines, good math skills.
Type 40 wpm, familiar w/ data entry. Must be resourceful, detail-oriented, highly organized, work well under pressure, and be able to prioritize. Willing to work overtime as needed, and possess ability to follow projects through to completion.
Team player, dependable, excellent phone skills, highly personable, communicates well and enjoys working with internal/external customers. |
